Please note that this Call for Coalitions Ideas Fair Poster Display Proposals is open to coalitions (youth or adult presenters, or both) and to researchers and students in the substance misuse prevention field.
COALITIONS IDEAS FAIR DISPLAYS
The Coalitions Ideas Fair is a poster presentation session at CADCA’s National Leadership Forum in which emerging prevention research and cutting-edge strategies and implementation in coalition work are displayed. CADCA is actively seeking submissions from coalitions, students, and researchers that feature innovative approaches to coalition work, recent successful outcomes in addressing substance misuse issues, up-to-date interventions and strategies, particularly environmental level strategies, and recent original substance misuse research. Submissions on community assessments and community-based participatory research will also be considered. COALITIONS IDEAS FAIR PRESENTER OBLIGATIONS: Please read carefully and be sure you can meet these obligations before submitting a proposal. The Ideas Fair Poster Presentations will take place on Monday, February 3 at the Opening Reception and Tuesday, February 4 and Wednesday, February 5 at the continental breakfasts. Presenters are required to be in attendance at their posters during each of these events and posters will be on display in the Exhibit Hall during the entire National Leadership Forum. COALITIONS IDEAS FAIR PRESENTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION: If selected as a Coalitions Ideas Fair Display, the first presenter (only) will receive a reduced registration rate of $450. Any additional presenters will pay their full applicable registration rate.
IMPORTANT SUBMISSION NOTE: The brief description for your idea that you submit in this form will be used on the National Leadership Forum website and event program. Be sure that you submit an interesting and clear description that you would like conference attendees to see.
INSTRUCTIONS: The following pages include questions regarding your proposed Coalitions Ideas Fair Poster submission. Please answer all questions completely, yet succinctly. A selection committee will be formed to review and score the submissions.
Notifications (of acceptance or rejection) will be sent the week of November 18, 2024.
